Walking with Families

In the spirit of the "Walking with Moms in Need" National Movement by the USCCB, "Walking with Families" aims to widen the reach and accompany families through the various stages, challenges, and blessings of life.

Our parishes are home to many families facing profound challenges: broken families, orphans, and widows enduring deep grief. Some are on the verge of homelessness, grappling with substance abuse, addictions, food insecurity, neglect, and mental health struggles. Others include mothers fleeing domestic violence with their children, transitional-aged youth, and grandparents raising grandchildren. These families are in desperate need of our compassion and support.

Our goal is to strengthen our network of support to minister to all families in need. We aim to provide the resources necessary to support families spiritually, emotionally, and materially by creating Care Communities in our parishes that effectively support and uplift families.
